Day 6 Finally get to leave my block! Going downtown to run some errands. Swelling is down significantly. My only worry is weight. I dropped below 120 last night though I have able to get my weight back up to 123

Day 6 Not too much to report. Averaging 121 122 lb. 4 5 lb less than preop Getting real sick of soup and ensure. Can’t wait till I get the ok for soft foods

Day 5 The swelling looks like it’s really starting to come down. That said, I am really getting sick of drinking slush. I am really hoping that I am ahead of schedule and wont need to wait 6 weeks before I get to have soft food.

Day 4 The swelling seems to be going down. I am now able to force my lips shut. My throat is dry however and my nose a little runny. I’ve lost 4 lb since my surgery but I suppose it could’ve been worse

Day 3 I got more consistent sleep last night, relative to the nights before. I woke up in 1 hour intervals, at 1am and then at 2am, but then managed to sleep for 6 hours straight. I do have a bit of a headache this morning unfortunately and feel groggier Continue Reading
